The airline has adopted a low-cost model focused on providing point-to-point flights between disadvantaged cities. Levy raised $125 million prior to launch, investing first in three leased Boeing 737-800s before leasing three additional 737-700s.

The Avelo hubs are located at Hollywood Burbank Airport (BUR) and Tweed-New Haven Airport (HVN). Florida is the airline’s most served state with six destinations. Other notable destinations include Las Vegas (LAS), Fort Collins (FNL), and Eugene (EUG).
